A major aerospace firm uses Quindi Meeting Companion both to improve the quality of their presentations to major customers and to facilitate better internal communication.

We deliver formal technical presentations as part of winning or maintaining our contracts. Preparing for these involves several dry runs and input sessions with a number of internal stakeholders. With Meeting Companion, we can save and recall the detailed feedback delivered in a session and we can allow other stakeholders to provide critical feedback even if they were unable to attend the dry run sessions.

Additionally, I use Meeting Companion when I’m attending meetings, to capture and extract information for my follow-on minutes and trip reports. In fact, I can simply distribute the Quindi meeting capture file as a replacement for detailed notes, saving myself a great deal of time. I also like the fact that I can store NetMeeting data alongside the audio, video and notes, something I was unable to do before with standard NetMeeting and teleconferencing sessions.

Sense Technologies, a contract and consulting engineering firm, is using Meeting Companion to document formal meetings and engineering investigations, including scenarios involving regulatory compliance.

We love this software. It has become a valuable tool for our documentation. The two primary uses are to document formal meetings, and to document engineering investigations. We plan to use it to record training sessions, as the FDA requires manufacturers to keep training records. What better way than to use Quindi?

For meetings we use Quindi to record the proceedings. I then summarize the events in a published Meeting Minutes, and attach the Quindi file. We have asked two associate contractors to download Quindi so that they will have the readers.

For investigations, we set up the Logitech camera to record the event. For our medical device customer, the file becomes part of the FDA required Device History Record. This saves many hours of report writing in some cases. In the event that we have to write a formal report, the Quindi file is on record to help write the report, and as backup for auditors.
